~ Land Acknowledgement ~
We acknowledge the sacred land on which we practice, remembering this land has been stolen from Indigenous peoples who are still here today. We acknowledge the ongoing hurt of colonization. In Portland, we recognize in particular the Multnomah, Cowlitz and Clackamas peoples. In Seattle, we recognize in particular the Coast Salish peoples including the Duwamish, Suquamish, Muckleshoot and Stillaguamish tribes. We lift up Indigenous sovereignty. 

~ The Movement for Black Lives ~
We acknowledge the history of slavery upon this land, acknowledging the wealth and profit built upon the bodies and souls of Black people.  We acknowledge the ongoing assault of structural racism and white supremacy, remembering that mass incarceration is modern day slavery.  We lift up the Movement for Black Lives.
